The Account Director Is responsible for driving and maintaining our global client and agency relationships, while helping build exceptional content initiatives with the help of strategy and commercial leads. We’re seeking experienced problem solvers with intimate understanding of the media and creative industries in the UK and beyond. About the Creative team: The Creative team spearheads the direction, growth and quality of the content created on our platform. We’re looking for team members that can prove the difference our work is making, commercially or emotionally with our partners and team members. Salary information: N/A - Depending on experience Responsibilities:
- Be the lead creative partner for our global Commercial Sales teams and partners that are taking local products to market (+£10M / year)
- Assist commercial leads in creating content proposals and pitch decks designed to clearly articulate the creative vision and strategy
- Work closely with Operations team to be the main source of knowledge for campaign implementation both internally & externally
- Assume control and responsibility in brainstorms – guiding ideas, strategies and types of execution in collaboration with all parts of the business.
- Assign and manage incoming RFPs and new business opportunities with regard to native/branded content proposals to our team of writers, producers, art directors.
- Manage client relationships and drive the follow-up for future native content marketing programs using Brand Stories
- Help develop and train a network of freelance writers (and / or editors) from around globe
- Contribute to creative playbooks, guide and content development on our platforms.
- Significant Creative/Media agency and/or Consultancy experience with strong understanding of business drivers
- Proven project management skills, leading multiple teams, as well as interagency, to deliver work that is on brief, on time, and on budget
- Skilled Storyteller and Presenter, with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to partners and brands, with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data to client value.
- Technical understanding of the principles of web builds, deployment process, tracking, web optimisation and content management systems
- Strategic mindset - you will be able to anticipate potential roadblocks and keep ahead of the curve with emerging trends
- Strong organisational skills and ability to keep on top of contact reports, status reports, client and meeting management
- Creative and forward thinking, with a strong awareness of technology, video and emerging platforms
- Practice front-foot account management - always anticipating what is next, answering questions before they can be asked, and using your skills to keep all members of the team updated and informed
- Confidently understand and discuss what is right creatively for that client, the brand and their brand journey. Understand where the agency is taking the work
