Role: Team Lead - OTC Content Location: Remote Kindly note that this will be a Work form Home Opportunity Working Days: 5 days working (Monday to Friday) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated OTC Product Content Writer Team Lead to oversee our team of content writers and ensure the creation of compelling and accurate content for our diverse range of over-the-counter products. The Team Lead will play a pivotal role in driving content strategy, managing projects, and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and creativity. Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of OTC Product Content Writers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality content that aligns with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and marketing objectives.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate and compliant product descriptions.
- Assess the content writer's work, offer constructive feedback, and make necessary updates on the portal.
- Manage project workflows, assign tasks, and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines and objectives effectively.
- Develop and execute content strategies to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and uses of OTC products across the website and application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SEO and product development to align content creation efforts with overall business goals and timelines.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance, and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and consumer preferences related to OTC products, and incorporate insights into content strategy and development.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting continuous learning, professional development, and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for skill development and growth within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 3-4+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or marketing, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and mentoring a team of writers or content creators.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for product content description particularly in the OTC healthcare space (e.g., DMR, FSSAI, FDA regulations).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience working with SEO principles and keyword research tools to optimize content for search engines.
- Understanding of consumer behaviour and marketing psychology.
