The Enterprise Network Solution Architect is responsible for aiding and supporting on-shore Sales and Presales teams in Asia Pacific by designing, positioning and selling Orange Network, and Security solutions and its portfolio, as well as assisting in providing product/service and commercial overviews of Orange network service offerings. This role requires an Architect that has a combined technical design & implementation background with a focus on designing and positioning solutions based on customer’s business requirements involving advanced networks, data centre and security technologies thereby supporting onshore presales teams through conference calls and other remote collaboration means. The Network Solution Architect shall be supporting the development and answering solution designs, technical descriptions for RFI’s & RFP’s, drafting cost sheets and assists in closing deals with the Account Managers and Presales. Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Design enterprise network Solution Architecture encompassing technologies such as Network (MPLS, SD-WAN, SD-LAN, Cloud or cloud security) ensuring that it meets the customers business requirements and performance goals.
- Partner with Asia Pacific Onshore presales as required in qualifying opportunities, delivering demonstrations, and providing security consulting expertise.
- Provide design support of enterprise networking solutions for both new and existing customers (managed or integrated) in support of increasing sales including:
- Actively support responses to proposals, RFQ, RFP and RFI requirements
- Prepare high quality technical deliverables such as High-Level Design, Low Level Design, technical proposal, Bill of Materials etc.
- Prepare cost estimates for all network and associated infra. solutions
- Identify & remediate potential integration issues
- Lead solution demo & pilots to support onshore solution team
- Lead the architecture discussions to work through risk, security, capacity and performance concerns.
- Lead customer facing activities including customer proposals, workshops and presentations.
- Interlock with nearshore and offshore teams to fully understand latest advancements in enterprise networking technology, different operating models and value proposition
- As a SME, he/she will be accountable to lead and make decisions on all aspects of enterprise networking and/or security proposal design and integration with client ecosystems
- Attend training sessions, both in-house, vendor specific and external to broaden and master your skillset into advanced and emerging areas of enterprise networking such as SD WAN, SDLAN, SDA, NDR, Network segmentation etc.
- An ideal candidate would be an ambitious and intuitive individual, with strong skills in Network technologies and very good understanding of next gen security and or multi-cloud solutions, who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach and managing time and change effectively
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in architecting, deploying and/or managing large-scale, high performing and resilient networking solutions and within either a 24x7 datacentre environment or global enterprise
- Designing, implementing, and/or supporting solutions involving, but not limited to WAN (MPLS, SD-WAN), LAN,WLAN, and software-designed technologies like SDN, NFV, SASE, cloud or network security technologies required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing and/or implementing MPLS networks, with exposure on SD-WAN technologies and security or public cloud solutions will be an added advantage. Experience on product from Cisco Viptela, Silverpeak or Velo cloud for SD WAN solutions
- Deep expertise, understanding and knowledge of Infrastructure Network and Security, SD WAN, Routing and Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud Networking and Cyber Security
- Experience in designing and/or implementing WAN Physical Connectivity for Large global MPLS/SD-WAN Projects shall be preferred
- Robust understanding & cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is required.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE RS or equivalent are preferred
- Experience in writing proposals and scopes, responding to tenders/RFQ/RFP/RFI
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of and ability to speak to networking principles in areas of emerging technology
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equal by experience
- Security industry recognised certification: CCIE R&S, CCNP, CCDP or other industry leading certifications
