Automotive Data Specialist

We are JATO Dynamics, the market-leading automotive data provider! We are currently expanding our remotely based Data Research team in South Africa. As an Automotive Data Researcher you will work within a virtual team and will contribute to deliver the most accurate research of different sets of automotive data (price lists, specifications, public incentives, etc) to our customers! We are very proud of being known by our data accuracy, and therefore we are looking for individuals who enjoy focusing on detailed information, with a strong focus on collaboration and willingness to continuously develop their skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Monitor the events of the automotive markets allocated and collect the relevant and required information to then code into our proprietary software, following company procedures and guidelines - Update and publish required changes using JATO proprietary software against relevant quality standards, procedures, and business requirements - Review documentation to gather details of specific changes and align against relevant JATO definitions, data structure and existing vehicle data - Successfully resolve customer issues as a part of The JATO experience customer support/escalation process - Stay up to date and execute the latest, ongoing procedure changes - To implement corrections and changes into the database as guided and required by the Data Operations management and Centre of Excellence team Key Requirements Key Requirements - Higher level of education or proven experience in collecting, processing and analysis of data - Interest and/or working experience in the automotive sector is preferred - Fluent in English (spoken and written)- The ability to focus on detailed information and to work with large amount of data long hours keeping highest attention - Being inquisitive combined with a proactive attitude - Ability to meet multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Advanced Excel JATO Dynamics is a global business and our success is attributed to the diversity, skills and experiences of our colleagues across the world.
