Schedule: Full Time Shift :Days The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas The role you’ll contribute: Under the direction of the Radiologist and a Preceptor, performs CT radiologic procedures. Will require independent judgment and initiative to perform CT procedures and appropriate protocols for diagnosis; to include Interventional Radiology procedures with CT guidance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Technologist may still be required to assist in X-ray in addition to CT to meet department needs. Obtain ARRT(CT) credential within 12 months of starting this role and then transition to the appropriate CT Tech job description/role. The value you’ll bring to the team: Work under the supervision of a credentialed CT or experienced CT technologist registered in another primary modality, to obtain the necessary experience to perform the exams required for ARRT CT registry. May be required to work shifts at freestanding ER with remote support of CT technologist. • Rotates on-call status. • Contacts vendor service engineer for assistance when system problem arises. • Performs other related duties as required and deemed necessary per Supervisor to include general x-ray and surgical x-ray imaging as needed. • Maintains ethical relationships and cooperates with all personnel in proper conduct of department.
