An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our team! We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Project-Driven Engineer, supporting our contract logistics business in Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of engineering tasks aimed at sustaining our existing business operations and implementing new initiatives. You will play a crucial role in various phases of the process, including process design, warehouse design, costing, and implementation. Location: Leixlip, Ireland (Flexible) Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 Working: Hybrid What will you be doing?
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
- Formulating project scope, engineering solutions, and timelines while coordinating their implementation.
- Interacting with clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
- Analyzing client data and developing solutions based on the findings.
- Defining and implementing operational process flows, including receiving, put-away, warehouse capacity, replenishment, and picking strategy.
- Collaborating with the IT team to align network developments and configure the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Developing cost estimates and documenting technical aspects of proposals.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in Autocad.
- Proficiency in MS Visio for process mapping.
- Solid knowledge of project management tools, such as MS Project.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodology and processes.
