At Silent Eight, we develop our own AI-based products to combat financial crimes that enable things like money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and systemic corruption. We are looking for a compliance expert to join our revenue team. This person will have both a deep understanding of and experience in compliance at a global financial institution. A successful candidate will be well known in the compliance space, have a broad network of relationships within the industry, and enjoy working across the industry promoting collaboration and conversation. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on financial compliance regulations, including but not limited to KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), and other relevant regulations.
  • In collaboration with various stakeholders within Silent Eight, remain up-to-date on compliance related changes and regulation within the FinTech/RegTech industries
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify prospective clients and develop targeted sales strategies to promote our compliance solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and provide expert guidance on how our products and services can address their specific compliance challenges.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our compliance solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations on compliance best practices and industry trends.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and market trends impacting the financial services industry, and incorporate this knowledge into sales strategies and client engagements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment between client needs and product/service offerings.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process, including contract negotiation, implementation, and post-sales support.
  • Manage relationships with a network of compliance professionals
  • Proactively identify and solve complex problems that impact the management, relationship and direction of the business
  • Host/ speak at industry events
  • Host/speak at Silent Eight sponsored entertainment events, round tables and conferences
  • Support the sales team in major presentations
  • Author thought leadership
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
  • Understand current and future challenges facing compliance
  • Charismatic and engaging personality
  • Articulate and able to intersect technology and compliance.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of compliance leadership roles at a global bank
  • Proven track record as influencer within the industry
