Our clients are predominantly business owners who are focused on ensuring their day to day operations perform as they should, I.T, networks, systems and cybersecurity are generally not something they have time to consider and that is where we step in. We manage all of the I.T. requirements so that people don't have to worry about whether their data and systems are protected. Nostra is exponentially growing and we are expanding our service team! Nostra has offices in Cork, Galway and Dublin. This role is based in our Galway office.
The Role: System Administrator
Responsibilities: Provision of dedicated IT support to our customers.
You will need to troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues across a variety of hardware and systems, escalating to a senior engineer or vendor support when appropriate.
Deliver support on issues of varying complexity across the various sites.
Set up and maintenance of new users within the client sites.
Partnering with the Account Manager to identify improvement projects and ensure the provision of an outstanding service.
Understand all compliance requirements on the different customer sites.
Be cognisant of operational security identifying changes to reduce risk along the way.
As you will be the customers first point of contact with Nostra you must be customer focused, enthusiastic, ambitious and solution focused.
You should be able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Required: 3 + Years’ Experience in an IT Engineer, IT Field Engineer, with proven experience within a Microsoft environment.
IT skills Microsoft related e.g., Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, switches, access points including VLAN’s and VPN
Azure knowledge is a bonus.
Excellent people, communication, customer service skills.
Good English with excellent communication skills.
Full, clean drivers license.
