The role is responsible for leading engineering teams on multiple projects, ensuring the seamless integration of I&C systems to meet safety, financial, and customer requirements. This role involves close collaboration with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to deliver tailored engineering solutions that exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead local and remote I&C engineering teams, driving performance and implementing continuous improvement strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain customer relations, gather feedback, and provide cutting-edge solutions to fulfill client needs effectively.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with I&C engineering expertise during the bidding phase, including technical presentations and consultations.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to streamline supplier services and equipment for engineering execution.
  • Engineering Design and Review: Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and deliverables, ensuring teams are well-resourced and capable of achieving business goals.
  • Financial and Manpower Planning: Participate in financial planning, manpower estimation, and budgeting for engineering deliverables in collaboration with sales teams.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: At least 6 years of relevant experience in the Power, Water, and Process Industries, with a strong background in customer-facing roles within ICA.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in engineering applications and solutions for I&C systems, including instrumentation sizing, control and automation sequences, and system architecture design.
  • Project Management: Experience in engineering schedule planning, man-hour estimation, and managing remote engineering operations at regional or global levels.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of international standards (especially IEC), process and P&ID documentation, and comprehensive knowledge of cabling and engineering tools.
  • Skills: Background in EPC, engineering centers, and manufacturing, with advanced knowledge in control applications, cybersecurity, and process optimization.
