Civil Engineer

Requirements Responsibilities:

1. Entering revenue and expense transactions in their respective ERPs
2. Supporting the sales team and department heads in day to day order management. Including but not limited to, adding orders to ERP, liaising with in-house finance team to push orders along approval stages, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure correct documentation is supplied
3. Supplier payment processing
4. Coordination with internal and external suppliers
5. Managing internal and external stakeholders, where appropriate, in relation to documentation and finance enquiries
6. Monthly account reconciliations
7. Interpretation of raw data to provide wider team with actionable data points to assist commercial sell through
8. Financial and Management Report preparation
9. Tracing transaction history and errors with a focus on solutions and operational improvement
10. Preparation of process documents to develop best practice of workflow and operations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or similar qualification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (Experience from a Shared Services / BPO industry is not applicable for this role)
• Highly organized, accurate and timely
• Resourceful, transparent and accountable
• Solutions focussed with a firm understanding of the initiative required in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong communication skills
• Profound understanding of accounting principles (especially Revenue Recognition Principle / IFRS 15)
• Advance level in Microsoft Excel (Macro and Crystal Report Background)
• ERP Systems Background in any of the following: Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One, NetSuite, Oracle, Zoho
• UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Understanding
