Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technology departments to scope and launch operating model, process improvement, and process transformation projects. Apply agile principles to identify business needs, validate key pain points, and determine the business case for change.
  • Utilize hypotheses development, data analysis/analytics, and process mapping tools and methods to establish project scope and potential value.
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to incorporate best practices and ensure innovative solutions are developed to address process pain points and value opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the creation of innovative solutions by leveraging agile methodologies and addressing process pain points and value opportunities.
  • Plan and conduct functional and cross-functional working sessions to develop future-state process models that address value opportunities.
  • Conduct best practice assessments and benchmarking as required to ensure projects are aligned with industry standards.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including the establishment of Steering Teams and mobilizing project teams in support of efforts.
  • Drive culture change within the organization by reducing time to market, boosting quality, raising employee morale, and fostering adaptability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading technology productivity programmes or similar initiatives in a large-scale organization.
  • Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies, with experience applying them to drive process improvement and transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis/analytics, process mapping, and other relevant tools and methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive culture change and foster innovation within an organization.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in a leadership role within technology, operations, or related fields.
