Company Overview: Braxtone Insurance & Reinsurance Broker (BIRB) is an insurance broker dedicated to providing insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. We specialize in offering a wide range of insurance products from reputable insurance companies, ensuring that our clients receive tailored coverage to meet their specific needs. Main Purpose of Job: The primary responsibility of the SBDM is to generate revenue income for BIRB via insurance commissions. The successful candidate will also develop and lead a team of sales professionals, drive sales strategies, and foster strong relationships with clients to achieve sales targets and maximize business growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies to ensure access to a diverse range of insurance products and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the insurance industry.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, underwriting, and customer service to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management on a regular basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve sales strategies and techniques.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards at all times.
Educational, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
