Vice President, Asset Management

JOB DESCRIPTION This is a key role reporting to the Head of Asset Management, in managing assets across the Asia Pacific and Europe an market. The job will be highly fulfilling for anyone who craves a professional challenge in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities:
- Support strategies to maximize performance and enhance data centre assets by working with internal stakeholders (such as marketing, facility managers and country managers) to formulate and execute action plans with reference to OPEX & CAPEX management
- Act as Landlord's representative to manage clients' relationship and resolve issues as appropriate
- Analyse and implement effective Lease Management in areas like lease structuring, renewal & retention strategies, client & asset risk management eg. Know Your Clients, arrears monitoring, property tax management
- Carry out Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI), asset valuation, asset review and hold-sell analysis for the asset under management
- Support initiatives for the team across countries in the areas like Compliance, Environmental, Social & Governance, Health Safety and Environment, BCP, audit etc.
- Prepare & consolidate budgets and periodic forecasts relating to net property income and capital expenditure of the portfolio, variance analysis with review of actual performance against budget and strategies
- Reporting - Consolidate and analyse data at individual property and portfolio level for periodic and ad hoc result announcements / investor meetings, prepare monthly and quarterly reports outlining performance by property and portfolio levels for internal management/trustee
- Assist in the preparation of company annual reports and circulars
- Degree in Business/ Finance / Real Estate or its equivalent, with a flair for numbers
- At least 10 years of prior experience in real estate asset management and operations . Prior knowledge of data centre operations and REITs reporting would be an advantage but not essential.
- Self-motivated, resourceful team player with ability to resolve issues independently
- Result-oriented and able to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and able to navigate with different stakeholders
- Familiar with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with data analytics software preferred but not essential.
