Job Description  CubeMatch is looking for an Infrastructure Test Program Manager. This role is part of an infrastructure program team, leading functional test strategy, test planning, and test resourcing for multiple workstreams simultaneously. The individual will collaborate closely with other program workstream leads, business, operations, central test teams, and third parties to deliver testing for the program. They will serve as the main point of contact for all functional testing, ensuring compliance with test policies, procedures, and tools. Key Responsibilities  
  • Leadership in test management for complex and strategically significant program implementations.
  • Experience in overseeing multiple workstreams within the program.
  • Management of stakeholders across IT, business, and operations functions, as well as third-party suppliers.
  • Acting as the Test Champion to promote test awareness throughout the program and among stakeholders.
  • Progression of the Test Strategy aligned with industry-standard test frameworks and methodologies.
  • Development and ownership of the Test Plan, contributing to the overall Integrated Program Plan.
  • Analysis and documentation of Test Requirements through collaboration with program leads and stakeholders.
  • Creation of Test Reports and Metrics to facilitate delivery progress tracking and reporting.
  • Management of the full Test Life Cycle, including planning, preparation, specification, execution, closure, and sign-off, within a defined Test Framework.
  • Contribution to project financial planning and management by incorporating test-related costs into the program budget.
  • Collaboration with third parties for oversight of Penetration Testing phases.
  • Identification and management of test-related actions, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Utilization of Test Management tools (manual and automated) in alignment with industry standards.
  • Engagement and negotiation with vendors to ensure adequate testing resources are available throughout the program.
  • Regular communication and coordination with team members to ensure tasks and deliverables are progressing on schedule.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in testing, with at least 5 years in a Program Test Manager role.
  • Familiarity with Dell and IBM backup & recovery technologies or similar products.
  • Experience with Mainframe Safeguarded Copy and/or Sync point technologies.
  • Proven track record of managing testing for multi-year complex programs and adhering to deadlines.
  • Experience managing testing in a regulatory environment within the Financial Services sector, particularly in the area of backup and recovery.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management within a distributed work environment.
  • Expertise in infrastructure testing, covering both hardware and software applications.
  • Creation of Program Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation, including adherence to a Test Framework or alignment with central test function policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Collaboration with third-party vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities.
  • Prior experience in testing backup and recovery runbooks is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using Jira for defect management and Confluence for requirements management.
  • Implementation of Test Automation, with experience in Ansible being a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills, capable of providing clear metrics and reporting on test progress and defect status.
  • Ability to identify and address blocking issues, as well as escalate them to the appropriate level when necessary.
  • Proficient in reporting and tracking Test-related RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships with team members.
  • Possession of ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager Certification and/or Project Management Certification, or equivalent, is advantageous.
