Our client, a busy contractor, requires a Site Supervisor for a hospital project in Cork City. Our client, a busy contractor, requires a  Site Supervisor  for a hospital project in Cork City. You will be responsible for coordinating a number of small projects and on-going maintenance work in the hospital. It is a permanent position and there is scope for developing the role as their activity in this area is growing. Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management, coordination and monitoring of the site labour force and specialist subcontractors.
  • Assist the Project team to monitor progress to meet agreed programme targets.
  • Ensure works are delivered to the highest possible quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Work closely with supply chain and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships and culture on the ground.
The ideal candidate will: Candidate must be comfortable and proficient with paperwork eg RAMS ,Safety Plans, Hand over files Programmes etc etc. Be knowledgeable on matters of building construction and maintenance and a minor amount of knowledge of services ie Electrical HVAC would be advantageous. Knowledgeable of health and safety Some experience of working in a live environment, preferably in medical but not essential.
