Senior Post Producer

Freelance opportunity for a senior post producer for our on-air hub Location: Rosebank Johannesburg Are you a dynamic and experienced producer with a passion for broadcast and digital promotional content creation?  Do you excel in managing production from conception to final delivery, with a keen eye for both technical and creative processes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Responsibilities:

• Manage post-production process from brief stage through to final delivery, ensuring high-quality output within specified timelines
• Oversee post-production processes with a deep understanding of technical and creative aspects
• Coordinate post-production schedules for high-volume output, ensuring seamless workflow and timely delivery
• Integrate AI technology to improve production workflows and efficiency
• Manage multiple tasks for multiple edit teams working on high volumes of broadcast promotional material daily
• Script short-form promos that captivate and engage audiences
• Work independently and remotely, adhering to clear briefs and deadlines
• Provide excellent management and leadership to a creative team of editors
• Interface with clients with high emotional intelligence, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded

Specialisation:

• Broadcast and digital promotional material creation

REQUIREMENTS Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in content production management, with a focus on broadcast or digital promotional material 
• Fluency in French would be a great advantage
• Proven track record in effectively managing post-production schedules for high-volume output
• Experience integrating AI technology to improve production workflows
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent management skills, particularly in leading and motivating a creative team of editors
• Ability to work independently while maintaining focus and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and creativity to develop innovative solutions that add value to the final product
• Ability to implement, adhere to, and manage strict production schedules
