The IT Specialist will take full accountability for theIT department of MAC Consulting, ensuring that all employees have thetechnology they need to get their job done, from a reliable laptop and VPN cloud/remote access for remote workers who can't be reached otherwise, toup-close coordination with other departments like HR or Finance toensure data is secure. KeyResponsibilities:

• Manage information technology and computer systems, such as file servers and network.
• Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
• Test,troubleshoot, and modify information systems so that they operateeffectively.
• Plan,organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Design,develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• E nsuresecurity of data, network access and backup systems.
• Actin alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute toorganizational policy.
• Identifyproblematic areas and implement strategic solutions timeously.
• Auditsystems and assess their outcomes.
• Preserveassets, information security and control structures.
• Workclosely with the Finance Executive to review and update the annual budget andensure cost-effectiveness, including, keeping asset registers up to date.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• A+ and N+, MCDST, MCSE, MCP certifications beneficial.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, network maintenance, and IT security.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS software, including file server, office, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Exchange.
• Creating, managing and implementing MS Teams and SharePoint Online Directories.
• Apple OS and IOS knowledge beneficial.
• Experience as an end-user support.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
