Job Description: Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer - Structural to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure construction project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the structural design and analysis, ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulations and standards, and providing technical leadership to the project team. Responsibilities:

Lead the structural engineering team in the development of design concepts, calculations, and detailed drawings for various structural elements including bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure components.
Provide technical expertise in structural analysis using advanced software tools to ensure the integrity and safety of the structures.
Collaborate with other disciplines including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
Review and approve design documents, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters, best practices, and professional development.
Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and obtain approvals as needed.
Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 18 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects and utility buildings.
Extensive knowledge of structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro.
Proficiency in relevant design codes and standards
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working on complex projects with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
