Product Designer (UIUX Designer) - Digital Commerce (Hybrid)

Due to high global demand for our products Experlogix is seeking a Product Designer to join our Digital Commerce team in Drogheda, Ireland. You report to the Product Manager for Digital Commerce and also are a part of a global team that spans Ireland, The Netherlands, USA and Canada.

Demand for B2B eCommerce continues to rapidly grow globally. It is a fast moving, complex and constantly evolving space where our products have a hugely significant impact for our customers and help them be successful in a multi-channel, digital world. We are seeking a passionate, self-driven person to understand and deliver maximum value for our customers and by extension capture value for us as a company. As Product Designer and key member of the Product Team your challenge is to research, prototype and detail the solutions to new features and improvements for our range of products - both web & mobile apps. Solutions need to deliver on the product requirements while ensuring a consistent user interface and a great user journey. A key part of your role is to establish a design system and processes including a strong component architecture that improves UI consistency and reduces complexity for our users while also enabling faster innovation in our product. The ideal candidate is a hands-on digital product designer with a passion for UI design systems, a strong practical knowledge of front end design and UX. You are experienced in taking complex requirements and via research and interaction with both customers and internal teams can present the optimal design solution. You are passionate about design systems that scale in a SaaS (web and mobile) product world.

Responsibilities

As a Product Designer you are:

• a digital UI Designer - you research, design solutions and execute flawlessly;
• a Design/UX Advocate and Practitioner - you enjoy collaboration with others and will be a key bridge between the Product and Development teams;
• immersed in our Customer’s Domain - you have insight and strong empathy to the challenges our customers face;
• responsible for the Solution Design of product features from concept to user story;
• an Evangelist for, delivering on and improving our Product Design Process.
• ready to offer Design Leadership, Review/Feedback and practical hands-on design solutions to our development teams;
• tasked with the Developing and Maintenance of a consistent Design System and up-to-date on Trends and current Best Practice relevant to your role including Product Design, B2B eCommerce trends and front end development / UI frameworks and design systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• You must be passionate about UI Design, UX, eCommerce and SaaS products.
• Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience working in a design, product management or UX role, ideally in a product / SaaS company;
• You are familiar with the fundamentals of designs systems, design thinking, user experience design (UX);
• Strong knowledge of modern design and prototyping software and tools such as Figma.
• Can demonstrable a portfolio in digital front end design and skills in HTML, CSS and JS frameworks;
• Great communications skills and love working with and across multiple teams and ideally have a Degree in a Design, UX, Web Applications or another relevant discipline.

You will work remotely and in ourIrelandoffice inDroghedain a hybridand flexiblesetup. You report to the Product Managerfor Digital Commerceand work within a global team of talented Product Specialists, Product Owners, Technical Writers, Architects, UX Specialists and Engineering Teams that span our three main product lines.
