Dublinia is a busy heritage attraction located in the heart of Viking and Medieval Dublin. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Marketing and Events executive to join us as an integral member of our small and busy team. This new position will report to our Marketing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to further their career in the tourism and events industry. The role will include the following responsibilities:
- To assist delivering the marketing campaigns as outlined by the Marketing Plan
- To assist in producing and distributing marketing materials including brochures, flyers, Social Media content and website content
- To develop and evaluate promotional offers and campaigns.
- To support the Marketing Manager to increase Dublinia’s audience, reach and engagement via social media platforms: including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. This will include, but not be limited to, researching, writing and scheduling posts using social media management tools.
- To be responsible for the monthly newsletter.
- To input and assist the marketing manager on annual and quarterly reports.
- The promotion and marketing of our Training and Education courses.
- To coordinate with the Marketing Manager on the annual list of events.
- To be the first point of contact for on-site events.
- To provide pre, during and post event client support, including set up of the event.
- To be responsible for writing and updating event procedures
- Ensure all events are added to local, regional and national listings.
- Maintain/update the museum's photo event archive and other digital assets.
- Research tools and trends to keep the museum's marketing current, effective, and efficient.
- Utilize brand guidelines and templates to create temporary signage and handouts for use in the museum.
- Represent the museum in a friendly, professional, and informed manner.
- Provide staffing assistance as needed.
