GPC Finance are working with an established 3 partner chartered accountancy firm based in North Dublin. With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. Exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant to have access to a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type. Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quality working paper files including Audit working papers
• Accounts preparation work to include balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of the management accounts
• Deliver of financial statements in line with agreed deadlines and ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements
• Assist with the preparation of year end audits
• Assist with year end close out and year end journals
• Preparation of company and personal tax returns
• Completing statutory returns
• Liaising with clients
• Assisting manager on special client assignments

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 1 plus years general accounting practice experience
• Results orientated
• Ability to communicate at a high level
• Excellent technical abilities
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
• Excellent communication, customer care and people management skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Audit experience an advantage
• Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)
