Your Role and Responsibilities As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team – advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Deal Closure Prediction: Predicting deal closures by understanding client buying cycles.
  • Up/Cross-Sell Support: Assisting colleagues in identifying up/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Business Campaign Activation: Activating new business campaigns with IBM Marketing and Sales.
  • Use-Case and Proof of Concept Development: Developing use-cases and proofs of concept with the team.
  • Value Proposition Presentation: Presenting compelling value propositions to clients and effectively landing solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Consultative Sales Proficiency: Consultative tech sales experience.
  • Digital Sales Expertise: Proficiency in digital sales tools and techniques.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical ability to drive business decisions with data.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Red Hat offering Knowledge : Possess Red Hat Red Hat Open Source knowledge to serve as a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's Hybrid Cloud and Red Hat offerings will be provided).
