Circit is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company that is on a mission to make business verifiable in real-time. We are a Fintech, creating a global asset verification platform that allows auditors to deliver higher quality financial audits and spend more time helping businesses to create greater value for all economic stakeholders. Our current customer base includes big four accountancy firms as well as global banks. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the Dublin team and support the expanding needs of the business. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be a key person in the finance and operations function of a rapidly expanding business. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to bring their experience and leverage what they have learned to date and grow within a scale-up environment. In this role you will:
- Management Reporting and Analysis : Oversee the preparation of the consolidated management accounts. Analyse to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and recommend actions for optimization.
- Statutory Reporting : Manage all statutory reporting requirements including the annual audit and account submission process for all entities.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals in collaboration with the CFO
- Tax Compliance: Manage the tax compliance of the business across all jurisdictions, working with local service providers where needed.
- Cash Flow Management : Monitor the company’s cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and manage working capital to ensure sustainability and operational effectiveness.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Enhance and enforce policies and procedures to improve internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Financial Strategy : Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive growth. Participate in strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions, as needed.
- Team Management and Development: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management. Act as a key contact for external auditors and other financial stakeholders.
- Adhoc Projects: As a growing business – implementing change and managing projects is a part of what we do. Being adaptable and willing to take the lead on projects will be a recurring aspect of the role.
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA)
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience – with at least two years in a similar level of role
- Experience in an international business structure where consolidation required is key
- Experience of SaaS and a recurring revenue environment a positive
- Must be a self-starter with a willingness to take initiative and implement improvements
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in advanced excel and financial modelling
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
