We have an exciting opportunity for you to join VetPlus as an Area Sales Manager. You'll work alongside a professional cohort who drive a real #WinningCulture allowing you to maximize your potential. What you'll do You'll be responsible for building effective relationships with existing and potential clients through telephone calls, emails, and face to face meetings. A consultative mindset is essential to ensure you develop sales based upon customer needs, best practice, credible advice and excellent product performance. Good with people? You'll be responsible for managing 200-300 practices in your territory. Great at Connecting? Daily meetings will be focused on identifying opportunities to work with existing and new practices. These sessions will vary from 1-2-1 meetings, to lunch and learn presentations with multiple attendee’s. From one Vet practice, to large groups with 30+ vets, each VetPlus customer is offered the same level of support. We are 100% dedicated to supporting independent veterinary care.   • All the technical knowledge needed to discuss both VetPlus and competitor products to veterinary professionals.
  • Complete sales process, from prospecting telephone calls to identifying opportunities and closing deals.
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • How to build a strong personal business relationship with our customers
About you
  • Previous experience or interest of the animal health industry
  • A 2:1 Degree in any subject
  • Natural rapport builder
  • Self-motivated and driven when working towards set objectives
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to travel
  • Full Irish driving license
