My client, a leading multinational are looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their expanding team. People Management
- Overseeing approximately 8 staff members.
- Conducting annual performance reviews and setting goals with employees.
- Balancing delegation of tasks with hands-on involvement and attention to detail.
- Providing coaching based on comprehensive understanding of the business and relevant procedures.
- Ensuring local GAAP financial statements are prepared by accountants according to provided timelines.
- Timely provision of necessary information.
- Managing local audits in BE, NL, HQ & Emerging markets.
- Coordinating with teams or third-party providers for timely filing of local GAAP financial statements.
- Coordinating monthly property/entity accounting reviews.
- Ensuring timely review of all properties/entities before month-end close.
- Confirming monthly bookings with local FP&A teams.
- Reviewing/signing off entries for Emerging markets.
- Leading monthly review calls with local FP&A leads.
- Monthly review of fixed asset reconciliations for all countries.
- Senior Accountant to take agreed responsibilities.
- Compliance with SOX Controls, including monthly reconciliations/reviews.
- Managing monthly bank reconciliation reviews for BE, NL, HQ & Emerging markets.
- Senior accountants may perform the task, but regional accounting manager holds accountability.
- Reviewing VAT reconciliations in NL, BE & HQ.
- Coordinating with external VAT advisors.
- Liaising with local tax authorities for VAT-related queries.
- Managing VAT audits if necessary.
- Managing SOX controls process for timely execution, documentation, and sign-off of relevant controls each month.
- Contributing to standardization of processes across functions.
- Leading operational excellence improvements in Finance teams.
- Taking initiative in finance projects with broader impact.
