My client in the tech space has an immediate requirement for Operations Support Specialist for an initial contract role. Hybrid working- Dublin 4. The successful candidate will proactively drive the end-to-end procurement process; monthly regional meetings to understand procurement needs e.g. onboarding new suppliers, contract requests, creation of purchase requisitions, Third Party Agreements and assisting with all other buy processes. Key daily tasks: · Review and ensure the purchase complies with policies, and to ensure speed and efficiency · Communicate and support suppliers with PO queries as they arise. · On hand to troubleshoot finance/procurement issues as they arise. · Monitor and track regional spend v budget and issue monthly progress reports · Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal business partners to share best practices and understand and challenge business decisions · Develop and maintain accurate and complete documentation for operational processes · Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned · Act as procurement subject matter expert to identify, develop and deploy best practice procurement, category management, and supplier management The ideal candidate will have: ·4+ years of Procurement Operations and/or Source to Pay experience · Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or other related field · Experience in planning, sourcing, and supplier management · Ability to create budget tracking for new teams and workflows · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals across a diverse community.
