Job Description: As an IT Support specialist at Kepak, you will provide 1st level day-to-day technical support to a dynamic office and production environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and in-house application issues
  • Managing service desk tickets for the site
  • Procuring hardware for the site
  • Delivering outstanding customer service by promptly answering calls and ensuring courteous and professional communication
  • Working as part of a larger team to meet individual and group targets
  • Providing excellent customer technical support and striving for first call resolution with each case
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer queries and complaints
  • Logging support information and actions to the relevant database/system
  • Supporting a production facility in addition to the primary office location
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A third-level qualification in the field of IT or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical support environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, both physical and virtual
  • Experience with VMWare/Hyper-V and virtual backup technologies (Veeam)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration skills
  • Experience with network patching switches and wireless installations
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a larger team
  • A pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude
  • The ability to take ownership, organize workload, and adapt to changing priorities quickly
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A third-level qualification in IT or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support
  • Excellent knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems
  • Experience with Windows Servers, VMWare/Hyper-V, and virtual backup technologies
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory administration
  • Experience with network patching switches and wireless installations
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • A pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
