Team / division overview We are looking for a candidate who will play an instrumental role to the firm's growth ambition in Asia Pacific, as part of the Private Banks & Intermediaries Coverage team based in Singapore. The Coverage Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing an impactful sales strategy for the client segment through growing and servicing client relationships, and contributing to the assets under management growth across the product platform. The clients in focus would be the Global & Regional Private Banks in Singapore as well as Asset Managers/Intermediaries in South East Asia. The Private Banks & Intermediaries team in Singapore is part of the broader South East Asia coverage team, which includes Institutional Coverage as the other main client segment. DWS in Asia Pacific has locations across Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Taipei (through a JV), Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Beijing. Your responsibilities - As our Coverage Specialist - Private Banks & Intermediaries , you will:
- Actively engage due diligence teams, product gatekeepers and advisors in Singapore Private Banks & South East Asia Intermediaries to grow overall business opportunities
- Work closely with portfolio management, product specialists and key stakeholders to distribute products across the Active, Passive & Alternatives product pillars
- Provide best in class client service through timely management of client requests and diligent coordination with internal stakeholders
- Prepare and communicate relevant investment, market and corporate information in a timely manner to clients
- Degree holder (or equivalent level)
- At least 5 years of sales or client servicing experience in financial services. Experience with Private Bank/Intermediaries clients in Singapore & South East Asia
- Deep understanding of industry, client wallets, opportunities and trends as well as prior relationship management of Private Banks & Intermediaries client segment
- Strong consultative, interpersonal and communication skills for both for internal dialogues as well as client pitches to convey a good grasp of the product features, industry background, financial impacts and client requirements
- Experience with public and private markets with a good working knowledge of investment concepts and securities
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to a be a pro-active self starter and independently manage tasks, whilst possessing the qualities of a team player
- Good time management, communication and presentation skills
- Motivated individual who is willing to take on challenges and contribute to a dynamic sales team
