Operations Analyst - Derivatives/Collaterals Mgt (12 Mths Ext)

The Company Our client is a global consulting firm working with a global Investment Management Group. We are looking for a Operation Analyst to support our client on a large-scale project. This is a 12 months contract with possibility of extension. In this pivotal role, you'll provide transition support to the BAU operations team, supporting the day-to-day collateral management activities of the Derivatives Business Management team. The Role
- Handle daily tasks such as collateral valuation, margining, resolving disputes, collateral settlement, interest payment on cash collateral and ensuring timely settlement
- Reconcile daily margin amounts, review cash buffers, and manage security transfers. Keep internal records updated and reconcile collateral balances
- Maintain collateral inventory, block positions in Bloomberg AIM, and handle ad-hoc transfers. Also, manage collateral holdings, perform reconciliations and process security lending
- Reconcile collateral balances, coordinate asset transfers, and monitor thresholds. Ensure accuracy in reporting and reconciliation with external vendors
- Facilitate asset transfers, reconcile inventory, and prepare security lending confirmations. Maintain records and communicate with clients and vendors
- Prepare daily reports, reconcile cash balances, and manage cash corridors
- Confirm trades, resolve disputes, and ensure accurate booking and lifecycle management of derivative products
- Bachelor Degree of Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance or related.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Investment operations of insurance / fund management / banking & finance industry
- Strong in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Settlement knowledge of various investment instruments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong initiatives, able to multi-task and work under pressure
