We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Sales Developer (Key Accounts) for the Leinster Region. The purpose of the role is to develop a defined territory as outlined by the National Sales Manager, with the total responsibility for sales, debt, margin and profit. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, key areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new customers.
  • Flexibility to travel and ability to manage Head Office Key accounts.
  • Drive growth through expanding the range that is currently being supplied to existing accounts.
  • Manage all customer contract within remit, including managing pricing and range to maximise profitability.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and good administration practices.
  • Complete all administration as required including Daily Sales Reports, Prospect lists, market share and categoryperformance.
  • Promote all aspects of BWG Foods, our company, mission, and values.
The successful candidate will:
  • Previous experience/knowledge in food industry and/or in direct foodservice sales.
  • An excellent knowledge of fresh protein would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record in proactive sales and achieved targets.
  • Strong level of commercial awareness.
  • Administration skills, planning and time management skills.
  • Forward thinking with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Can do attitude to be our customers trusted advisor.
  • Ability to change, adapt and be flexible.
  • Knowledge of foodservice ordering platforms
  • A team player
