Senior Accountant

Job Description:

• Processing and recording invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Verifying vendor invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and receiving reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Managing vendor relationships and communicating effectively to address payment inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintaining accounts payable aging reports and ensuring timely payment of invoices to avoid late fees or disruptions in supply chain relationships.
• Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies with vendors.
• Monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the company by reviewing the P&L statement.
• Tracking revenues, costs, and expenses to ensure they are in line with budgeted expectations.
• Identifying trends, variances, and areas of improvement to optimize profitability.
• Collaborating with other departments to understand factors influencing financial results and provide insights for decision-making.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
