Food and Technology Teacher £28,000 - £45,000 Location: Portsmouth

We are recruiting for a Food and Technology Teacher to join a Ofsted rated Good school in Portsmouth for April.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food and Technology (with an option to teach KS5)
2. Developing, maintaining and stimulating pupils' curiosity, interest and enjoyment in food and nutrition
3. Developing students' familiarity, competence and confidence within a safe workshop environment
4. Motivating students to contribute and engage in extra-curricular Design and Technology activities
5. Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
6. Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical Food and Technology exams

Requirements:

• A proven track record of success within the classroom (if you have previous experience)
• A keenness to embark on your new journey as a Food and Technology Teacher (if you are a Trainee/ECT)

• Good and growing knowledge of the curriculum
• A team player approach
