Our Team The Rise Strategy Team spans 3 continents, bringing together educators, innovators, artists, athletes, researchers, and advocates who believe every student deserves a personalized education experience regardless of where they’re coming from. Hailing from top universities worldwide, our Strategists bring their personal experiences to the table as they invest in the team’s overall expertise and support parents and students in navigating today’s increasingly complex education landscape. What You’ll Be Responsible For As a Crimson Rise Strategy Consultant, you will work directly with young students (typically grades 6-8, ages 11-14) and their parents to develop and execute immediate academic, extracurricular, and personal developmental goals aligned with desired academic or professional pathways. Services You’ll Provide Guide students in pre-college academic strategy, including:

  • Assessing academic performance and proposing solutions to capitalize on strengths or address gaps (e.g. tutoring, advanced coursework, summer programming)
  • Course selection
  • Extra-academic course selection
  • Curriculum selection and general direction for high school (e.g. private vs. public, local vs. studying abroad), optimizing for student’s learning style and optimal placement for long-term university admissions
Guide students in pre-college extracurricular strategy, including:
  • Pinpointing and owning interests and dislikes
  • Selecting new extracurriculars
  • Deepening established extracurriculars
  • Building competitive competition plans
  • Brainstorming personal projects
  • Summer activity planning
Guide students in personal development, including:
  • Goal-setting
  • Stress management
  • Time management
  • Study skills
  • Reflection on priorities, interests, motivators, and strengths
  • Cultivating and maintaining an innate love of learning
Guide students in additional developmental work, including:
  • Researching majors and careers
  • Researching US vs. UK universities
  • Taking supplementary online classes
  • Building tailored reading lists and improving vocabulary
  • Helping students become happy, healthy, clear-minded thinkers confident in their inherent value and able to engage passionately with their interests and the world around them
Skills Required
  • Educational expertise, ideally for students aged 11-14
  • Child psychology (ages 11-14)
