We are engaged by our client, a leading shipping & logistics provider. They seek an experienced Kuwait-based Business Development Manager - Break Bulk / Project Cargo to lead the ongoing expansion.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Break Bulk / Project Cargo sector.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Create product awareness and arrange customer presentations and product demonstrations to improve sales opportunities.
- Handle quotations & all Commercial aspects of Break Bulk / Project Cargo opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote our services and brand.
- Collaborate with operational team members, coordinating with vendors and internal clients.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to senior management.
- Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that will increase company margins.
- Use the CRM system to create/manage activities and business opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Previous 5 years of experience in Breakbulk/Project Cargo business development. Excellent communication skills. High level of ethics and professionalism. Outgoing personality, team attitude. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
