Civil Engineer

Following are the key responsibilities of the position:

1. Providing technical leadership to the team
2. Managing customer satisfaction
3. Hands on with technology - Design/Develop/Review complex modules by self if needed
4. Implementing continuous improvements in engineering practices - including process optimization, tools adoption and encouraging automation, impart training etc.

Required Skills: Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Front-end development using React, Typescript, Javascript, ES6, HTML5/HTML, CSS/bootstrap/Flexbox, Node JS. Deep into NGINX and reverse proxy configuration. RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON data handling. Good Understanding about databases like MongoDB, MySQL. Technical Leadership: Mentoring/Guiding and unblocking team on a daily basis. In-depth reviews of design, code, tests, manuals, processes. Implement process improvements as and when required. Owning quality and schedule of deliveries made by the team. Implementing best software engineering practices in team peer reviews, automations. Customer Management: Understanding customer requirements & helping customers with elaboration of hidden requirements. Proposing design alternatives. Timely identifying risks (Technical and Non-Technical) and effectively communicating. Owning customer satisfaction for deliverables made by the team. Efficient with Tools and Processes: UI/UX Design tools like zeplin, figma. GitHub/GitLab. Continuous integration tools (Jenkins / Hudson/CircleCI/CloudFormation). Issue tracking tools like JIRA, Redmine etc. Following Agile Methodology. Implementing Automations. Modern application development frameworks and design patterns. Past Record: Demonstrated success as a developer for projects in similar technologies. Demonstrated success in actively contributing to large consulting projects. Demonstrated success in leading a team of at least 5 members in similar technology domains. Communications: Effectively communicates to diverse technical and non-technical audiences, including customers, developers, peer architects, senior management etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
