Naionra an Chaisleain is currently recruiting for the position of Room Leader/Supervisor Start Date: End of Aug Hours: 8.30 – 1pm Monday to Friday (term time)Salary Ero rates Closing Date for Applications 14th June Naionra an Chaisleain is located in Castlegregory village. We provide preschool services for children from 2yrs 8mts to 5 yrs. our service runs Mon – Fri 9.15 to 12.15 for 38weeks per year, our preschool is a home away from home where children are supported to grow and learn in a fun and playful environment. Successful candidates will hold the necessary childcare experience, knowledge, and a min Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education. A Good understanding of the Irish language is desirable but not essential Desired Skills and qualities would include: Good Leadership and organisation skills. An ability to work as part of a team Be able to communicate with parents in providing the best possible care and education for their child A good knowledge and understanding of child protection and their duties and responsibilities under children first An inclusive approach to practice and an understanding of Diversity Equality and Inclusion guidelines. Ability to assess and plan for children’s learning development using Aistear & Síolta practices To document children’s learning and development Ability to work on own initiative. Have a fun and energetic personality.
