Our client, a global healthcare leader , is seeking to recruit an EHS Project Manager to join their team in Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Responsibilities (full job description available on request): As an EHS Project Manager , you will:
- Ensure business operations priorities human health, safety, and the environment by following all relevant laws and standards.
- Consult Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks and make sure they're understood and followed.
- Manage health and safety documents like Project RAMS, safety files, risk assessments, inspections, and accident investigations.
- Support the Senior EHS Project Manager in implementing and reviewing the EHS projects' strategic plan annually.
- Assist with managing ISO45001 certification, including documentation and internal audits.
- Participate in internal audits at Cootehill and sister plants.
- Lead site-specific EHS projects, ensuring they stay within budget and timelines.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to the EHS team.
- A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health and Safety.
- At least 3 years experience in a high volume and dynamic production environment.
- Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
