Excellent Financial Controller opportunity based in Dublin West, reporting to the CEO you will have full responsibility for the finance function and managing a small finance team Our client a rapidly expanding newly acquired SME hiring an ambitious Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting directly to the CEO. This will be a hands-on role and requires an autonomous individual that is commercial and will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, building and improving existing processes and systems. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts (consolidated group and all 3 entities)
  • Preparation of monthly bank reporting pack
  • Preparation of bi-monthly board packs/reports and presentation of same to Board
  • Maintenance of Board Minutes
  • Preparation of annual business plan
  • Preparation and presentation of detailed reports on financial performance vs budget around, revenues, gross margin and costs to support business decision making.
  • Manage cashflow and cashflow forecasting and lead in the implementation of initiatives to improve net working capital.
  • Manage all Taxes for the business
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of Group Statutory audit and tax compliance.
  • Continue system implementation initiatives across the business (Sage 200 & Sicon)
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Manage stock entries, stock count and general stock system management.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant with minimum 5 - 10 years PQE
  • Proven leadership experience managing a finance function.
  • Excellent communicator with experience of presenting to a Board.
  • Experienced user - SAGE 200
  • Knowledge of Sicon Projects/Sicon Service - desirable but not essential
  • Great attention to detail, with strength in analysing and presenting financial data.
  • Strong commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors.
