Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer. Responsibilities
- Provides production support and perform system operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of ECL BAU process.
- Contact point for BAU team to liaise with on production issues.
- Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.
- Manage issues internally and with technology team, become an effective "bridge" between users and technology.
- Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as reporting users to elicit and validate business requirements.
- Ensure all requirements have proper traceability.
- Leverage the subject matter experts across technology and business in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
- Perform testing and ensure the features built are as per users' requirements.
- Document testing and functional specifications.
- Banking & Finance/IT/Math/Accounting background preferred.
- Knowledge in Credit RWA or IFRS9 ECL will be an advantage.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in projects in a banking environment.
- Meticulous with a hands-on approach and good analytical skills.
- Degree in Banking and Finance, Business analytics, Financial engineering.
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in SQL is preferred.
