Compass Arabia is a dynamic and innovative contract catering company with a global presence. We specialize in providing exceptional dining experiences to our clients across various industries. As we expand our operations in KSA, we are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our operational teams and drive excellence in project execution. Role Overview: As the Operations Director, you will play a critical role in managing customer relationships, ensuring efficient delivery, and maintaining financial health. Your focus will be on optimizing processes, leveraging technology, and fostering collaboration across teams. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a regional team comprising of Operations managers, project managers, project coordinators, HSE managers etc..
  • Execute and deliver training and coaching for the front-line teams.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve outstanding results.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Own and enforce operational processes, corporate tools, and best practices.
  • Continuously innovate to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to enhance all aspects of operations.
  • Manage the financial health and performance of each team and P&L.
  • Ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery aligned with client requirements.
  • Maintain revenue and spending forecasts.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Engage directly with clients as the regional operational leader.
  • Build strong service relationships based on a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Adjust communication and engagement strategies as necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Work collaboratively across teams, divisions, and departments.
  • Advise sales teams from an operations perspective during planning.
  • Align customer or vendor partner contracts with legal policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management/program management.
  • Leadership: At least 5 years supervising operations teams, including performance tracking and people development.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing project delivery against financial and contractual targets and requirements.
  • Skills: Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Language: Fully proficient in business/professional level English.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in catering, retail, support services, and contract services.Regional experience is required.
