This is a 2-year contract role. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to overseeing the compliances of safety regulations and company ESH policy
  • Review and manage ISO audits and Bizsafe Star requirements, liaise with in-house and external stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations and proposals to management to ensure organization comply with WSH Act
  • Provide training to in-house team as well as our subcontractors, and ensure they follow safe work procedures.
  • Liaising with Project Manager and Operational Managers to ensure their team is complying with safety regulations.
  • Periodic and surprise audits to operational sites in Singapore which includes maintenance.
  • Services as well as installation of chillers, piping and electrical works.
  • Provide training and to our overseas team and do remote inspection to ensure they follow Singapore Safety Standard or local regulations whichever higher.
Requirements:
  • Safety Coordinator with WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) Course.
  • Work at Height certified.
  • Experience with mechanical works especially working with sub-contractors.
  • Must be able to conduct mass toolbox with presence of contractors.
  • Must be able to execute the day-to-day safety operations (RA, SWP, PTW application, toolbox meetings, safety inspections, follow-up of non-compliances, etc,),
  • Must be able to evaluate safety in (Lifting, Hot-Work, WAH, Electrical) activities and issue stop work if require.
  • Strong management, technical, customer management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bridging technical and business disciplines.
  • Ability to travel - Willingness to support remote project locations for extended time periods, within the Philippines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors.
