Position Summary: Dexcom’s Vice President, General Manager – APAC, is an outstanding career growth opportunity for a passionate leader excited about joining our innovative health technology company. This role will lead Dexcom’s APAC region through the next phases of growth. This person will have integrated responsibility for delivering innovative business leadership in a dynamic, high growth, and multi-channel environment. This individual will be accountable for delivering on Dexcom’s commercial strategy in these markets and achieving exceptional, above market, growth, and business results, within a compliant environment. In addition, this key regional leadership role is pivotal to attract, develop, and retain the world’s top talent, and help them grow to lead as Dexcom grows across the APAC region. The Vice President, General Manager – APAC is an integral member of the Global Sales Leadership Team and the Global Commercial Leadership Team. This position will be based in APAC. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Define vision, strategy and tactics for the APAC region.
- Deliver exceptional, above market, growth and business results.
- Establish annual and quarterly operating plans and execute those plans with a focus on delivering against all targets (e.g., revenue and new patients).
- Drive outstanding, above market, revenue results via deep insights and actions to lead with consumers, health care professionals, and payers bodies.
- Integrated responsibility for delivering innovative business leadership in a dynamic, high growth, multi-channel environment.
- Grow the APAC leadership team, while recruiting, developing, and retaining the world’s top talent.
- Manage P&L for APAC.
- Work cross functionally with key members of the Global Commercial Leadership team as well as other departments within Dexcom to ensure alignment of plans and deliverables.
- Ensure new product introductions are executed to plans.
- Drive category growth by establishing reimbursement and access for Dexcom CGM.
- Develop strong partnership with global marketing and leverage global assets to drive awareness.
- Responsible for all signatory and administrative duties for the APAC region.
- Represent the company and its mission to the diabetes community and key opinion leaders.
- Lead efforts in staffing, talent development, succession planning and performance management for the APAC region.
- Work with sales operations on forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount or promotion rates.
- Work with the APAC sales leadership team to design, develop, and assign sales territories.
- Work with distributors to drive Dexcom revenue.
- Determine market expansion strategy and determine the optimal business model for example, distributor or direct.
- Analyze sales statistics to formulate plans to accelerate sales.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Analyze and control expenditure of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
- Analyze organizational business needs from a resource perspective, suggest improvements to the Global Commercial Leadership Team.

- Bachelor’s degree required and MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Typically 20+ years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years of experience in healthcare in a related area.
- Typically 15+ years of successful leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams and use influence management effectively with cross-functional partners and senior management.
- Strong communication skills, high energy; executive presence.
- Proven track record of leading strategy, innovation and driving execution.
- Experience leading matrixed teams and achieving excellent business performance.

- Previous experience in Asia Pacific.
- English fluency required; proficiency in Japanese and/or Korean a plus.
