The Location Located in Waterford in Brisbane’s growing southern corridor, Bolton Clarke’s Talbarra community provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment. The Job Promote wellness, independence, social connections and recreation activities based on the needs and interests of our residents. Assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of meaningful activity programs that engage and connect our residents and aligns with their choices. Assist in the organisation of social and recreational activities. This is a full-time parental leave contract for 6 months. Be the smiling face who brightens the day of our residents at Talbarra. You bring: Experience in a similar role, a current First Aid Certificate (with CPR), NDIS clearance, experience in delivering social and recreational activities and programs to seniors, and a background in providing support to residents with cognitive impairment. A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a similar qualification is highly desirable. You’ll also have a genuine passion to work with the elderly, fabulous communication and team work skills and basic computer skills.
