ICON PLC is currently recruiting for an Investigator Payments Coordinator (Grants Specialist), to join our growing IPG Team on a Permanent hybrid working basis, based in our Leopardstown HQ in Dublin. The Investigator Payments Group (IPG) is the investigator payments function for ICON Clinical Research, and the role is to ensure timely, accurate and efficient execution of investigator payments & to ensure all payments are carried out. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter professional, or even an Accounting or Business Management Graduate, to gain new responsibilities in a range of payments and process driven activities, become commercially focused and be a key player within the organization. The duties of the Investigator Payments Coordinator (Grants Specialist)include:
- Manage and Process Investigator Payments for their assigned study/studies.
- Managing the internal inbox and internal system.
- Run weekly reports to ensure payments information is accurate.
- Collaborate closely with different departments including Clinical, PTS, IT, Finance, Legal, Tax and Contracts, as well as external clients regarding payments.
- Review payments in accordance with the investigator site budget and visit date to ensure sites are being paid in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review all site contracts and set up the proposed payees and budget schedule as governed by the signed Investigator Contract.
- To escalate payment delays and/or issues should they arise.
- Possess excellent system knowledge with the ability to resolve complex issues without support from Team Lead.
- 1 year relevant work experience preferred, or has demonstrated aptitude necessary to execute the role successfully.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to partner with different levels of Management.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to easily adapt to dynamic environment working to strict deadlines and targets.
