We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role is responsible for ensuring audit of all payroll related activities for both legislated and internal policy related transactions. The Payroll Manager also closely collaborates with finance to ensure bank files are issued in time for payroll bank processing for each entity or payroll.

  • Ensure the payroll department audits expense submissions in line with policy and processing requirements set by VP, Finance.
  • Ensure the deadline for submission of bonus payments is adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE and KSA legislative requirements.
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of leave deductions, advance leave salary requests, EOS accruals and unpaid leave with finance and HRIS teams.
  • Identify process improvements and system enhancements to streamline Payroll operations if required to discuss with VP, Finance and VP, HR.
  • Work with HRIS team to ensure year-end processes are carried out in a timely manner and accurately in relation to annual leave carry over and accruals.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting and analytics relating to payroll.
  • Release payroll reports every month for management review.
  • Handle employee queries and issues relating to payroll and deductions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in payroll audits and assist with internal and external audits as required.
Knowledge:
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of both KSA and UAE payroll processes and compliance requirements.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional service mindset to exceed internal and external customer/client expectations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding payroll and employee information.
Experience:
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll management.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Gulf role – UAE and KSA payroll.
  • Preferable Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations experience.
  • Experience with Time and Attendance Systems to track employee hours worked.
