Integration Engineer (Core Banking environment)

Description: Our client (Private Banking) is seeking a qualified Integration engineer to work on deployment activities, System administration (IBM Websphere) and CICD for the bank IT. Work with the Run Team on ensuring that S2I systems for non-production (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT, etc) are available and functional.

• Work on incident management for environment and deployment issues.
• The candidate should also have solid experience in Jenkins, GitLab and XL Deploy pipeline design and implementation.
• Worked as a production L2 Engineer to ensure the run of the applications in his perimeter in the different environments (Production, UAT…)

• Well-versed in GitLab and Jenkins framework for Packaging and Deployment.
• Should be able to debug release and deployment issues (Merge conflicts, Jenkins jobs, etc).
• Troubleshoot and investigate environment availability and performance issues.
• Able to automate dashboard reports, providing system status for Non-Prod environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies
• Good inter-team collaboration skills for BAU and project initiatives.
• Experience with the ability to lead DevOps Activities and Implementations effectively across organizations and engagements.
• Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes using tools like SVN, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible with Python.
• Experienced in the creation, integration and administration of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Git, Nexus, Jenkins and XL Deploy and comfortable in maintaining and enhancing the code.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure for the WAS, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss, IHS Application servers and Webservers.
• Hands-on Experience with UNIX environment mainly Linux along with Windows OS is mandatory.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes)
• Communication with users to gather DevOps requirements and analyse/address issues

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as an integration engineer
• 2 to 3 years working in a Core Banking environment
• Well-versed in UNIX Scripting, Jenkins, GitLab, WAS Admin
• A good exposure to COBOL, MySQL and Jira is a strong plus.
