Tax Manager (VAT)

This company is seeking a highly motivated and fully qualified Tax Manager (VAT) to join their Tax Team based in Dublin 4.

As the Tax Manager (VAT), you will provide high-quality VAT consultancy services to clients while working in collaboration with other areas of the business such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Business Advisory teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality VAT consultancy services to clients
• Work in collaboration with other areas of the business such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Business Advisory teams
• Ability to manage a client portfolio profitably while actively seeking and developing opportunities for both existing and new clients
• Identify and project manage tax consultancy assignments using solutions-based tax planning
• Advise overseas clients locating to Ireland on both compliance and tax structuring projects
• Build and maintain client relationships both within the firm and within the wider international network
• Stay abreast of tax technical changes as a result of the evolving international tax landscape
• Develop and train more junior members of the team - taking responsibility for both their technical and practical experience

Key Requirements:

• CTA / CTC qualified (Accountancy qualification is also desirable)
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
• Experience with VAT in Ireland and/or internationally is essential for this role
• Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
• Excellent knowledge of corporate tax both in Ireland and internationally
• Client-focused with an interest in developing new business opportunities for this company
• Excellent team management skills
