Assistant Relationship Manager (Private Bank, Perm)

Job Scope:

• Provide input to Head of Greater China Market regarding new target market, new products, activities and practices of the competition and general market conditions.
• Ensure any special reporting requested by market head/RMs is accurate and provided in a timely manner.
• Ensure all documentation is accurately maintained and updated in a timely manner.
• Maintain high level of service quality.
• Execute instructions accurately, in a timely manner and in adherence to processes and procedure.
• 50:50 split in terms of responsibilities between back-office work (KYC, CRM, account opening, documentation, fund subscriptions) and front office work (trade execution/client communication)
• Ensure KYC documentation for client base is current and reflected in company’s CRM system
• Liaise with clients and custodians for account openings and ongoing KYC
• Prepare client account opening and fund subscription documentation independently
• Independently handle cash management on client accounts
• Assist RMs with administrative tasks (travel, client gifts etc.)
• Place trade orders as needed

• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Impeccable English and Chinese (written and spoken) to support the appropriate clients in market. 
• Minimum of five to seven years of relevant ARM experience in a private bank, covering both account opening and trade execution
• CACS 1 & 2 and RNF licenses
• Knowledge of common private banking products and asset classes
• Quick thinking, detail-oriented and self-motivated personality
