Role: We’re looking for an experienced Copywriter to craft high-converting ads, emails, and email sequences. As a Copywriter with prior direct response experience, you will be responsible for taking over the copywriting, crafting marketing angles for campaigns, and working with media buyers and the management team to craft winning copies. You are required to have a deep understanding of how sales copywriting works, and how to write ads, emails, and other types of content that will generate sales. This is a full-time role and the candidate will be expected to work within our office hours between 10am-7pm SGT, 5 days a week. Responsibilities:

  • Ad Writing: Crafting of ad copy for multiple platforms (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok) and multiple objectives. (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) 
  • Landing Page Copy: Free offers, low ticket offers, high ticket offers, OTOs, upsells, downsells and crossells.
  • Content Post Copy: Content post for Facebook, IG, and Tiktok 
  • Email Copy: One-time blasts, sequences (introduction, indoctrination, re-engagement), autoresponders, automation
  • SMS / Whatsapp Copy: Confirmation messages, reminder messages, re-engagement messages 
  • Website Copy: End-to-end website write-ups 
  • Script Crafting: High converting video script copy with direct response elements 
  • Offer crafting: Crafting offers based on needs and competitor analysis
  • Messenger Sequence Crafting: Crafting messages for messenger sequences
  • Multiple Account Management: You’ll be writing copies for multiple initiatives that have a $15,000 SGD monthly combined ad spend. 
  • Breakthrough Implementation: As a direct response copywriter, it will be your responsibility to stay on top of what’s working in the direct response world, especially in Singapore. 
You’ll be responsible for keeping an active lookout for offer structures, copy structures, and hooks that have been working for others and documenting and applying them to our company campaigns. Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in direct response copywriting for Facebook ad copies.
  • Disciplined Processes: You’ll need disciplined thinking in terms of the systems you follow to craft converting copy: How do I utilise the agency swipe files? How do I reference previous working copy for this initiative? How do I craft multiple copies for various industries quickly and effectively? 
  • Ability To Swipe: You’ll need to be able to quickly identify what references you can use to quickly find winning structures and hooks to apply to your copywriting. 
  • Deep Understanding Of Human Psychology: You’ll need to be able to ask yourself: What does my prospect really want? How can I structure my copy to make sure they slide down a slippery slope and take action? What are their real, tangible pains and problems and how do I craft an ad around it? 
  • Strategic Initiative: You’ll need to be able to propose strategic calls on the copy such as what hooks to write and what kind of structures to use.
  • Meticulousness: Due to the nature of writing for multiple accounts you’ll need to be extremely meticulous in all areas of your writing to avoid grammatical mistakes to reduce the load of proofreading on the team.
  • Copywriting Speed: You’ll need to be able to systematically and effectively craft copy at speed for multiple divisions.
  • Communication: The team will rely a lot on your strong communication ability to let them know what's required for you to craft winning, converting copy. (e.g Specific information that’s not available) 
  • Confidence: Being responsible for crafting all types of copy, you’ll need confidence in your writing ability and be able to propose new ideas, hooks, structures, and offers.

    • FB ad copies (Long-form and short-form ads)
    • Email copies (including email sequences)
    • Web and landing page copies
    • Sales letters (if available)
