The Role: This role supports the Head of Strategic Programs & Ops and includes strategic, operational, project and administrative responsibilities to drive results, improve processes, implement change, strengthen controls, and achieve more efficient operational performance. The specific mandate of this role is to increase Moody's ability to engage with Executive level decision makers during both their decision-making and innovation process. This is achieved by bringing value, innovation and strategic alignment to the centre of Moody's solution proposition and sales cycle. The role will function essentially as a consultant within the Moddy's Sales team, creating strategic content that is delivered to senior executives within client organizations. Responsibilities:
  • Assist Head of Strategic Programs and Operations on projects administrations which are broad in scope, interdependent, high impact, have medium to long term implementation time frames and are cross functional.
  • Act in a hands-on capacity responsible to provide assistance to day-to-day project activities and operations.
  • Help oversee all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Provide general Strategic and Operational support in the area of Sales Strategy to APAC ME Senior Leadership Team
  • Be a 'Self Starter, 'In Charge' 'Thought Leader' & 'Mentor/Coach' who is proactive in seeking opportunities to serve in leadership roles, even outside of direct area of responsibility; consistently demonstrate Moody's values, especially in leadership within assigned project(s) and organizational team.
  • Provide well-crafted communication scripts of various correspondence messages
  • As needed, assist in coordinating efforts with Finance, Business Planning, Information Technology, Building Services and others to ensure group's needs are met.
  • Manage the filing and documentation system of the department in accordance with the relevant internal procedures
  • Update senior management and group leaders on a regular basis
  • Ensure respectful communications by crafting an atmosphere of collaboration and iterative improvements, encouraging people and collaboration, and accepting change by team engagement.
  • Build a reputation as a pragmatic problem solver who collaborates in a constructive manner for iterative improvements for operational efficiencies within the position, project team(s), and across the broader organization. Enable decision-making by efficiently analyzing business drivers and constraints, and present alternative solutions to address problems and opportunities
  • Be able to help create and deliver compelling business cases to the C-suite in a variety of industries across a number of use cases
  • Work with Sales Management and advise executives on the business and financial impact of major technology related transformations. This will be executed by assessing their current strategy, constraints and capabilities and defining different scenarios, identifying key capabilities to improve their market competitiveness, defining transformation road maps and estimating the financial impact
  • Work with Sales management to define programmatic value selling initiatives that increase sales effectiveness
  • Supports the sales team in creating strategic value propositions for larger/strategic accounts in the region
  • Guarantees high % coverage of larger opportunities through value selling engagements
  • Continuously engages with Regional Sales management (and with other functions such as product, industry practice leads and solution specialists) to provide visibility of the current activities, propose new initiatives, validate priorities
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of related project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and planning ability
  • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of planning and execution
  • Process oriented mind-set with a demonstrated history of achievement
  • Ability to logically identify the root cause of problems and get to resolution quickly and efficiently
  • Familiarity with the Agile approach, project management software and Microsoft suite of tools
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelors' degree and advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • A demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry
